Long, Narrow Apartment Feng Shui Needed? -- Good Questions

Q: I have a long, narrow living room that connects the bedroom and the kitchen. It has very high ceilings but there is an arch in the middle of the room with little half walls that intersect out in the middle, making it impossible to put anything in the normal areas where you might utilize space.
